Windows drivers, handled properly.
Because every device arrives with a different hardware mix, Retsu Profiler gives technicians a clear place to install the drivers a machine still needs. Windows will usually install core drivers automatically once the device is online, but optional and model-specific drivers can still be handled directly in Retsu Profiler before handoff.
The drivers Windows does not fully cover.
Windows does not automatically apply every optional driver, and some systems require manufacturer-specific packages for features such as audio, wireless, cameras, touchpads, function keys and other onboard hardware to work as expected. Retsu Profiler gives technicians one place to handle those drivers before handoff.

Can Retsu Profiler test laptop batteries and Windows 11 compatibility?
Yes. Its guided checks include battery health and key hardware components, and it can flag whether a Windows 10 device meets Windows 11 eligibility requirements. It also checks Windows activation so licensing issues can be identified before the device leaves the bench.
How does Retsu Profiler make grading consistent between technicians?
Profiler places cosmetic grading inside the same guided finalisation session for every technician. The selected grade, notes, operator identity and session results are saved together, giving managers a consistent record to review and use for inventory or listings.
Does resetting a PC to Windows OOBE securely erase its previous data?
No. Returning Windows to the Out-of-Box Experience is a finalisation step for the next owner, not a substitute for media sanitisation. Devices containing previous-user data should complete the required supported Retsu Erasure workflow before they are prepared and resealed in Retsu Profiler.
How much does Retsu Profiler cost?
Retsu Profiler is included across Retsu subscription packages. One profiling licence is consumed the first time Profiler or Erasure runs on a newly registered device, and retests of that registered device do not consume another profiling licence. Drive-erasure licences are separate and apply only when Retsu Erasure starts erasing a drive.
